NASHVILLE – Amid its growing arsenal of conservative thought and content aimed at the modern culture war, Tennessee-based media company The Daily Wire has set its first theatrical release with a comedy documentary that bulldozes the DEI narrative with AM I RACIST? which premieres September 13.

Daily Wire show host Matt Walsh, who blistered the transgender cult with a similarly styled 2022 documentary WHAT IS A WOMAN? takes on the left’s other most threatening intersectional weapon when attends workshops on anti-racism, crashes closed-door intellectual dinner parties and conductsd sit-down interviews with “experts” – including some of the biggest names in the “antiracism” movement – all while playing the role of a bumbling, zealous DEI trainee.
Since the BLM riots of 2020, corporate America, the education system, legacy media, and the Democratic Party have all been on a mission to convince the majority of Americans that America itself is fundamentally racist. Walsh’s expose hilariously entertains the idea that all of these institutions might be right – providing the perfedt springboard to dive headfirst into their world. Walsh takes DEI courses and chats with the experts – including the queen of antiracists, Robin DiAngelo, author of White Fragility – putting their advice and logic to the ultimate test.

AM I RACIST? is a Digital Astronaut production of a Justin Folk film. It is produced by Charlotte Roland, Brian Hoffman, Matt Walsh, and Justin Folk, who also directs. Sean Hampton and Benyam Capel serve as co-producers, with Dallas Sonnier, Jeremy Boreing, Caleb Robinson, and Ben Shapiro executive producing.
Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing credited “What is a Woman? with changing the national conversation on radical gender theory, “effectively killing the issue”, and aiding the movement that brought about state laws against boys using girls bath rooms, locker rooms and competing in girls sports in 26 states. The U.S. Supreme Court recently blocked a Biden Admininstration appeal of its ruling against pro-trans rewrites of the Title IX pushed by Biden which would have effectivel “de-sexed” women’s private facilities and sports. Boreing says DEI is the next pillar of the woke mind virus that’s about to topple.

What Is A Woman?, uncovered intellectual dishonesty at the heart of the radical gender theory movement, dominated headlines upon its release in 2022, and again in 2023 when it garnered nearly 200 million streaming views on X (formerly Twitter) after Elon Musk intervened when his Twitter staff attempted to censor the film.
Walsh’s newest film joins a slate including the upcoming epic adventure series The Pendragon Cycle, as well as Snow White and the Evil Queen, starring host of The Comments Section, Brett Cooper, set to be the first feature-length release by The Daily Wire’s kids entertainment company, Bentkey.
Distribution for the film will be handled by SDG Releasing.
